Not sold? Here are a few more things to consider that our consulting team can help you with:
- Learning what NOT to do. In addition to coaching you on how to proceed, our team can help you avoid common pitfalls! With a highly competitive business job market, you’ll want to make sure you stand out in a good way – not in a bad way!
- Devising a networking strategy. Being thoughtful and strategic about who and how you reach out to start building your list of career allies can go a long way!
- Being in your corner. Like it or not, the job hunt can be grueling and it can be easy to feel alone in the process. But remember, you are not alone! Our team has seen it all and we are here to support.
Ready to schedule some time with a CMC career consultant? Follow these steps below:
- Go to Handshake to make an appointment.
- Select your college and program or major. You must have your major updated on your Handshake profile to be able to see the corresponding consultant. If you are undeclared, put “Undeclared Business” as your major on your profile.
- Choose a day and time for your appointment. Double check the time zone!
- Select if you prefer to meet in person or on Zoom. If you are meeting in person, come up to Room 308 in the GWBC to check in and your consultant will come get you. If you are meeting online, your consultant’s Zoom link will be in an email you will receive after scheduling the appointment.
- If you have made a resume, we recommend making sure it is uploaded to Handshake so that your consultant can review it during the appointment. If you have scheduled a mock interview for a specific role, please email the consultant the job description ahead of your appointment so they can better help you prepare.
