NTC Career Launch Program
teaches students how to network and build a professional brand through six in-person group coaching sessions, twelve asynchronous microlearning lessons, a career readiness assessment, and a tangible workbook that you get to keep. The goal is to help you get more comfortable having career conversations while also giving insight into your career options. We provide professional headshots, business cards, email templates and timelines, and exclusive events and resources for Career Launch participants, including dinners and networking events with Tulane alumni and industry professionals. Career Launch is open to all Tulane students.
The six-week experience and curriculum covers the following eight steps, with each building upon the next step each week:
- Discernment: Prioritize the organizations you want to work for
- Strategic Research: Discover professionals who can be helpful to you
- Professional Brand: Enhance your online reputation
- Outreach: How to play the student card to set up career conversations
- Preparation: Strategies and best practices for career conversations
- Advanced Preparation: Turn career conversations into interviews, referrals and mentorship
