Job Description:
Our lab is seeking students interested in earning course credit and/or performing undergraduate research project, thesis research project while learning how to perform manuscript editing, statistical analysis of biological data, and other computer work related to molecular biology as well as molecular biology experiments including but not limited to DNA preparation, gene cloning, PCR, electrophoresis, PCR genotype, qPCR, computer work, bench work, lab organizing works, etc. Please visit Dr. Li’s website to learn more about our lab: https://www.yi-ping-li-lab.org
The position requires enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in biology, chemistry, or a related field in Tulane University. All grades of students are encouraged to apply. No need for experience, training will be provided. Once you complete the course you may work as a paid lab member, dependent on the lab’s budget.
Job Requirements:
Biology, chemistry, or other related major and course enrollment for a relevant capstone course. 10-20 hours/week of availability (between 8am and 6pm on week-days) is expected.
