POSITION SUMMARY: The Summer Investment Management Analyst will work as a member of a eight-person investment team that manages Tulane University’s $2.3 billion Endowment. The Summer Investment Management Analyst position will consist of a 10-week rotation through various investment asset classes in which Tulane University’s Endowment is invested, including public and private equity, venture capital, and hedgefunds. The position entails detailed research and analysis to support decisions made by the senior investment staff related to financial markets globally and to specific investment managers, both existing and prospective, through which the Endowment is invested. The Summer Investment Management Analyst is responsible for attending diligence meetings, compiling and analyzing data, assisting with investment memos, developing and maintaining databases, and conducting a final investment recommendation to the investment team. The position offers an opportunity to have an impact on the University, develop specialized investment expertise and gain broad exposure to various asset classes in an intellectually stimulating and collaborative environment.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
1. 0-2 years of experience in a financial or analytical field
2. Pursuing a bachelor’s degree, preferably in a quantitative or investment-related field but not required
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES TYPICALLY NEEDED TO PERFORM THIS JOB SUCCESSFULLY:
