Job Description

About the Role & Program:

Disney Entertainment Television is a collection of renowned content brands at The Walt Disney Company creating original entertainment and news programming for the company’s streaming platforms Disney+, Hulu and Star, and its broadcast and cable networks. Its extensive portfolio is comprised of ABC Entertainment, ABC News, ABC Owned Television Stations, Disney Branded Television, Freeform, FX, Hulu Originals, National Geographic Content and Onyx Collective, in addition to Disney Television Studios, which include 20th Television, 20th Television Animation, ABC Signature and Walt Disney Television Alternative. Responsible for over 4,500 hours of programming a year across more than 300 programs of all genres, Disney Entertainment Television’s creative brands are at the forefront of groundbreaking storytelling, captivating audiences and generating critical acclaim. In 2024, FX set a new record with its highest total of Emmy® nominations in a single year, receiving 93 nods and surpassing its previous record of 57 in 2016.

The FX Advertising & Media team is looking for a summer intern to help support the FX, FXX, and FX on Hulu marketing campaigns. The Advertising and Media team at FX is responsible for all paid advertising for FX series and oversees media planning and strategy as well as the creative execution of digital and social assets for use in the paid campaign.

What You Will Do:

Our Intern will be exposed to the day-to-day responsibilities of working in the entertainment marketing field, gain understanding of media planning, project management, internal/external communication, and will receive continuous mentorship from dedicated team members. Our Intern will engage in brainstorm discussions and are encouraged to bring forth new creative marketing ideas to the team. Interns will also be responsible for conducting media research and gathering creative social media trends, making suggestions as to how they may be relevantly incorporated into campaigns.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Excellent writing, verbal and interpersonal communication skills working with colleagues across departments at all levels

Enthusiastic, proactive, eager to learn and willing to take on new challenges

Well organized, with strong relationship building and time management skills

Ability to take direction from multiple stakeholders, balance numerous projects simultaneously, prioritize deadlines and effectively work in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to manage confidential information

Resourceful with critical thinking & problem-solving skills

Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs; Must be able to utilize Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

Previous experience working in the entertainment industry

Education:

Senior year

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information:

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:

Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship​

Be at least 18 years of age​

Possess unrestricted work authorization​

Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Disney College Program

Additional Information:

Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship

Able to be fully available from January 2026 through June 2026

Fully available from Monday through Friday, for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week

Able to provide own housing for the duration internship program​ in the Burbank, California area

Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work​ Burbank, California area
