Are you interested in starting your AmeriCorps service starting August 17, 2026? Consider serving with Notre Dame Mission Volunteers AmeriCorps! Gain valuable experience while serving your community!

Notre Dame Mission Volunteers develops leaders through education and compassionate service that sparks confidence to learn and agency to transform disenfranchised communities. NDMVA members provide direct in-person service at schools, community centers and non-profits. All positions are designed to provide academic assistance for grades K-12 or to provide adult education in the form of STEM Education, GED, literacy, food security, job readiness or job training.

Responsibilities may include: assist with after-school programs, assist with STEM classes, help to facilitate or execute small group instruction with guidance/support from classroom teacher; work with teachers to coordinate in-class support for students around engagement and behavior; assist with the coordination and implementation of literacy classes; support food security organizations.

The benefits of service include:
· $2,857 monthly living allowance during service.
· Segal Education Award and California For all award totaling up to $10,000 upon successful completion of service.
· Health care benefits
· Forbearance or deferment of qualified student loans.
· Child care if eligible

Minimum Requirements
Applicants must be a U.S. citizen, national or lawful permanent resident at least 18 or older and have a high school diploma or GED.
