Social Media Marketing Intern (Paid or Unpaid Internship)

Company Overview

At iSocialPR, we help businesses grow through content strategy, social media marketing, digital campaigns, and brand storytelling. Our clients range from nonprofits and startups to established brands in industries including events, automotive, hospitality, and lifestyle.

We are looking for a creative, organized, and driven college student who wants real-world marketing experience beyond classroom theory.

This is a hands-on internship where you will actively contribute to campaigns, content creation, and client projects.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with creating and scheduling social media content
  • Research social media trends, audio, hashtags, and content ideas
  • Help film behind-the-scenes content, reels, and short-form videos
  • Support content planning for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn
  • Write captions, organize content calendars, and brainstorm campaign ideas
  • Monitor engagement and help prepare simple performance reports
  • Attend occasional client meetings, networking events, or content shoots
  • Support administrative marketing tasks as needed

Qualifications

  • Current college student
  • Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and social media culture
  • Comfortable using Canva, CapCut, or basic editing tools
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Organized, dependable, and able to meet deadlines
  • Comfortable being creative and contributing ideas
  • Interest in entrepreneurship, branding, and digital marketing
  • Must be in Metro Detroit

Bonus Skills

  • Experience creating reels or TikTok content
