About the Function

Our Supply Chain and Manufacturing team are problem-solvers, sourcing, producing, and delivering our much-loved brands to delight customers around the globe. About the role

We are looking for Laboratory Specialist to join our team at our Alasehir Factory. The ideal candidate will ensure the creation of warehouses for quality control, reporting, and records of raw materials, packaging materials, auxiliary features, semi-finished products, and finished products in accordance with company rules, legal requirements, local and global standards and quality plans. Maintaining the control and continuity of the Quality Food Safety management system in the factory where the company works.

Role Responsibilities

  • Perform analyses of all types of materials and substances, such as raw materials, semi-finished products, finished products, etc., according to experimental instructions and technical specifications.
  • Inform the supervisor and initiate corrective actions when nonconformities are detected in the analysis results of samples analyzed in the laboratory, and follow up on the process.
  • Check the compliance of all parameters affecting product quality.
  • Handle customer complaints, analyze and control non-compliant products, participate in root cause analysis studies, and conduct product, defect, and statistical studies.
  • Perform statistical analysis and error analysis related to the analyses and controls conducted.
  • Participate in necessary activities for establishing the HACCP Food Safety System in the factory and perform required checks to ensure the continuity of the system.
  • Conduct periodic GMP field inspections (e.g., GMP audits, FSSC 22000 field audits), initiate corrective actions for identified nonconformities, and follow up on the process.
  • Participate in projects related to quality, food safety, and other topics.

Experience / skills required

  • Associate degree (2-year) in Chemistry, Food Technology, Laboratory, or a related field
  • Preferably 0-3 years of experience in laboratory analysis or quality control
  • Basic knowledge of laboratory equipment and analytical methods
  • Familiarity with quality and food safety systems such as HACCP and GMP is an asset
  • Experience in handling non-conforming products and supporting corrective actions is a plus
  • Basic understanding of data recording, reporting, and simple statistical analysis
  • Attention to detail and strong sense of responsibility in following procedures and instructions
  • Ability to work in a structured environment in compliance with technical specifications
  • Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Open to learning, proactive, and disciplined working approach
  • Basic level of English is preferred
