BRAVE/architecture, an award-winning multidisciplinary architecture firm, is looking for a full-time Architectural Project Manager with proven experience to support the design team. The Project Manager reports to the firm’s executive leadership team and is an in-office, opportunity located in the Montrose area of Houston, TX. This is a senior-level role with both client and team facing responsibilities working with a dynamic creative team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of multiple projects, including the preparation of strategic plans for project success
- Coordinate all project efforts—administrative and technical—to ensure efficient and cost-effective execution
- Manage client budgets, schedules, and programs, alongside project communications, documentation, office administrative tasks, and project team assignments
- Determine scope of work, estimate fees, prepare proposals and contracts, and organize workflow to streamline production and eliminate downtime
- Conduct meetings with clients and consultants to ensure smooth project progression and success
Minimum Requirements:
- 5-year Architectural degree from an accredited school of architecture
- 8+ years of related experience in the USA
- Advanced skills in Revit, Bluebeam, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Advanced knowledge of project design process, construction documentation and administration
- Proven effectiveness coordinating with architectural teams, contractors, and consultants
- Ability to direct and coordinate work efforts of junior staff
- Excellent communication, organization and presentation skills
- Must be self-motivated, ability to work collaboratively and independently
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks amid changing needs and demands, maintaining a constant attention to detail
